International wants UK move

There has been a lot of movement between Super League and the French Elite One Championship in recent times.

The likes of James Maloney, Corey Norman and even former Leeds Rhinos man James Segeyaro have all joined the French competition and are currently plying their trade there.

Krisnan Inu played in the competition briefly before joining Leigh Centurions whilst Nathan Peats spent some time there after a loan spell with Huddersfield Giants in 2021 before joining Toulouse Olympique and winding up back at Huddersfield come 2023.

Meanwhile, former Hull FC centre Hakim Miloudi has also ended up in the competition after a spell with Barrow Raiders as well as Catalans Dragons centre Dean Whare.

The centre was linked with a move to Wigan Warriors before switching to the French league.

It has been reported that both Miloudi and Whare could be interested in a move to Super League which could favour the likes of Castleford Tigers who after the retirement of Jake Mamo are in the market for a centre and have a quota spot.

There is another player in the French division Serious About Rugby League understands is interested in a move to the UK.

That is Zarrin Galea who is a Malta international alongside Jarrod Sammutt in the past.

Galea won the Man of the Match in the 2019 Blowes Cothing Colts Grand Final.

He has also scored five tries in four games for Malta kicking 11 goals.
