Injury Corner: More woe for Leeds as Wigan and Hull suffer

The amount of injuries being suffered in Rugby League in recent times is quite harrowing.

A significant amount of muscle tissue problems as well as more longer-term issues such as MCLs and ACLs are becoming more common.

Therefore, we thought it would be a good idea to note which stars succumbed to injuries over the weekend.

Leeds v Huddersfield
Ash Handley (Leeds) – groin

Wigan v St Helens
Liam Marshall (Wigan) – head

Hull FC v Hull KR
Josh Reynolds (Hull FC) – knee
Joe Cator (Hull FC) – Achilles

Is it just me or does anyone else think it’s strange that the game is now more professional and what can and cannot happen on the field of play has changed. Players are getting more injuries than ever?
