Hull KR head coach Tony Smith stood down to self-isolate

Hull KR have confirmed they have stood down head coach Tony Smith to self-isolate for 14 days.

Smith has come into contact with someone who has since tested positive for Covid-19, and will now follow Government guidance.

As a result, he will not be present at Rovers’ next three games at least, starting with tonight’s clash with Castleford.

In his absence, assistant coach David Hodgson will take control of first team affairs.
