Hull KR release new away shirt for 2024

Hull KR have officially announced their new look away kit for the 2024 season, taking inspiration from Old Craven Park.

The new marble kit, which takes the colour scheme from the clubs 1994 away kit, uses the patterns of Old Craven Park stone as a reminder to fans that the club is continuing to evolve, whilst still connecting to its old roots as a community club.

In a statement released on the clubs website, Hull KR Chief Executive Paul Lakin said: “The marble pattern takes inspiration from the Old Craven Park Foundation Stone which is over 100 years old.

“It’s something that people may have walked past a thousand times, but never taken any notice of it. It’s time to give it the respect and prominence it deserves, as the only surviving piece of the Old Craven Park that’s with us here today at the new Sewell Group Craven Park.

“As part of the launch, we’ve spruced up the plaque and moved it to a more prominent location, taking pride of place in the Boardroom.

“It’s a reminder to us all, that as the club continues to evolve and grow in the coming years, the foundations of our club will never change. We must never lose sight of who we are, our soul, and our role as a community club. The pattern is a subtle nod to that, and will run throughout our 2024 training-wear too.”

It is available to order now via the clubs website.

The new kit is sponsored by the club’s principal partner Connexin, and produced by Oxen for another season. The new marble pattern also features on the clubs new training range, which is also available to order from the club’s website.

The new shirt comes as Hull KR look to replicate the success of the 2023 season, which took them to Wembley Stadium for the Challenge Cup Final as well as reach the semi-finals in Super League.

Furthermore, it caps off a great week for the Robins, as they were awarded an A grade in yesterday’s IMG gradings. To add a little bit more spice to matters too, they were ranked above bitter city rivals Hull FC too.
