Hull KR forward leaves the club to take up Championship challenge

Hull KR have confirmed that prop Greg Richards will leave the club to spend the year on loan at Toulouse Olympique in the Championship.

The prop started his career at St Helens in 2013 but after 70 appearances and spells at Sheffield Eagles and Rochdale Hornets, the prop moved on to Leigh Centurions prior to joining London Broncos after their promotion to Super League in 2019.

After three years in the capital he joined Hull KR on a one year deal with an option for a second which was taken on.

He played for the club at Elland Road in the Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Huddersfield Giants.

The prop also featured for the Robins as recently as last week in a pre-season friendly against Featherstone Rovers.

Now though he will battle the Rovers for promotion as he joins Toulouse on a season long loan.
