Hull KR took on Leigh Centurions in the Challenge Cup Sixth Round at Craven Park today.
Leigh broke the deadlock in the tenth minute with a Ben Reynolds penalty for a high shot, but Frankie Halton crossed just after the midway point in the first-half. Jordan Abdull converted for a 6-2 lead.
Mikey Lewis added another try on 25 minutes and then Matt Parcell burrowed over from dummy-half. Will Dagger converted both to make it 18-2 at the break.
Hull KR continued where they left off in the second-half when Matty Storton ran under the sticks, but Keanan Brand dotted down just after the hour to make it 24-6.
Two late tries from Leigh threatened a comeback, but Rovers held on for a 24-18 win.
