Widnes have confirmed the re-signing of young outside back Jayden Hatton for next season.
The youngster was one of several players to make their first team debut this season and went on two score nine tries in 15 appearances.
He becomes the second re-signing of the day, after back rower Sam Wilde put pen to paper on a new contract earlier today.
“Widnes Vikings is my home town team, and I take immense pride in playing for this club,” he said. “Personally, I was happy with how my year went in 2019.
“The opportunity to play in the first team probably came earlier than I was expecting, but I feel like I gave everything I could whenever I played. To play at Wembley for Widnes was a dream and I want to create more memories here.
“The aim for me now is build on that, to impress Tim Sheens and the fans, and keep improving as a player.”
