George Williams is currently holidaying on the Gold Coast as Fox Sports blasts his claims of ‘homesickness’.
The English halfback is attempting to come to an agreement with Canberra Raiders in terms of ending his contract at the club, but another NRL side has made calls in an attempt to persuade Williams to join for 2022.
That club is one by the beach, according to Fox Sports.
But, Williams’ exit from the Raiders could be more complicated than that as there is expected to be a clause that states he can only go overseas, meaning a move to another NRL club could make the whole saga even messier.
