Five Super League stars charged by match review panel

Five Super League stars have been charged by the disciplinary before Super League Round One.

This is a blow for the two clubs who have had players banned before Round One. This included Huddersfield Giants.

For the third week in a row, Huddersfield have had a man suspended. The Giants have seen skipper Luke Yates has been hit with a multi-game ban.

There is some confusion however. The official disciplinary states that he has been banned for two games whilst the minutes state he has been banned for three games.

Meanwhile, Salford Red Devils star King Vuniyayawa has been hit with a ban for dangerous contact. He will miss the game against former club Leeds Rhinos as it stands.

Warrington Wolves duo Connor Wrench and Brad Dwyer as well as Salford’s Finley Yates have avoided bans for Head Contact.

Former Warrington man Greg Minikin has been hit with a two game ban for a dangerous throw.
