Five Super League clubs who could sign former St Helens star Regan Grace

Former Super League star Regan Grace has now left French rugby union outfit Racing 92, the team he left St Helens to join at the end of 2022.

Unfortunately, his St Helens career was cut short by injury meaning that he joined the French rugby union club injured. He began his rehab but suffered further damage to his injured ACL resulting in his departure from the club having never played a game.

Training with Bath Rugby Union at present, his future is unclear. He was linked with a move to Hull KR by some but this has been shot down but could other Super League clubs be monitoring the situation?

Here are five clubs who could try and sign the Welsh winger:

St Helens
The team Grace left to make the move to union, a return to St Helens was always on the cards when he left the club with both parties hinting at it. The Saints could do with Grace or another outside back after the loss of Will Hopoate though it would mean Tommy Makinson moving into the centres. But the Saints would surely love to have him back.

Wigan Warriors
According to reports in rugby union, Wigan made a play for Grace recently but missed out on the winger. But could they retain an interest in the winger. They have an affinity with players like Grace and their illusive running style and signing Grace would be a typical Wigan statement.

Leeds Rhinos
The Rhinos have been linked with Lee Kershaw as they consider their wing options. So could they consider a move for Regan Grace? A move for Grace could make a lot of sense with David Fusitu’a out of contract at the end of the year.

Hull FC
Hull FC have made it clear that they could be interested in another outside back for next year so signing someone like Regan Grace would make a lot of sense. It would be apt if Grace was to replace Adam Swift twice at two different clubs.

Leigh Leopards
Leigh have made a habit of making major statement signing and Grace would certainly be that and another big name added to their squad. With two wingers at the end of their careers, Grace would be a move towards longevity.
