Featherstone have confirmed the signing of young Leeds Rhinos halfback Harvey Spence on a one-year deal from 2021.
The 20-year-old has featured prominently for the Rhinos’ academy in recent years and had started the season in the club’s reserve grade.
He has already played one game for Featherstone, turning out in their pre-season friendly against York and will now link up with the club on a permanent deal.
He joins Rhinos reserve teammates Liam Whitton and Loui McConnell in making the move.
“I’m really happy to have signed for Featherstone Rovers next year and I can’t wait to get going,” Spence said. “It’s been a long time coming and I’m looking forward to starting pre-season and getting back on the training field.
“Having spoken to James Webster, I’m excited about next season and ready to work hard and take any opportunity that comes my way in 2021.”
