Tonight there is a huge story set to unfold as Luke Gale is set to debut for Wakefield Trinity against his former club Hull FC as Trinity look to drag themselves out of relegation trouble.
But will Gale be able to make things happen at Belle Vue tonight.
Eorl Crabtree has had his say on the game:
“They’ve got to fancy this one that’s for sure. Hull FC are in a bit better form now and are confident themselves but Wakefield off the back of that Warrington performance have a little belief in themselves.
“I think if you looked only maybe a month ago and thought about this game being on TV you’d maybe think it might be pretty dire.
“I think things have changed quite a lot, both teams finding their feet, finding a way to get back into games at least and with Hull FC especially finding a way to win.
“That changes a lot and this should be a good tight game.”
He then went on to tip Luke Gale to be the hero on The Last Tackle podcast:
“I just think with Wakefield they’re due a win, it’s going to happen soon and Luke Gale loves a one pointer as well. He is that specialist so who knows?”
