As we head over to the home of Leeds Rhinos for the third and final test between England and Tonga, the disciplinary verdicts from the second test at Huddersfield Giants has been revealed by the IRL.
This sees Tom Burgess again charged. This time he has landed himself in trouble for a shoulder charge as BBC’s Matt Newsum suggested he would.
This occurred in the first half but after a late hit on Victor Radley which has gone unpunished perhaps to the frustration of England as they chase a series whitewash.
Fortunately, their frustrations will be eased by the fact Burgess was only cautioned for the shoulder charge which was deemed dangerous contact.
Tonga’s Felise Kaufusi was the only player from Kristian Woolf’s side to land himself in trouble with the judiciary. He was also been cautioned for behaving in a way contrary to the true spirit of the game.
After the international match between England and Tonga on October 28 at Huddersfield, the IRL Judiciary has taken the following decisions:
Felise Kaufusi (Tonga) – Grade A: (Law 15.1(i) – Behaves in any way contrary to the true spirit of the game – Dangerous Contact) – Caution
Tom Burgess (England) – Grade A: (Law 15.1(k) – Shoulder Charge – Dangerous Contact) – Caution
Elsewhere in the international scene three players were placed on report for Malta and two for the Philippines.
After international matches played on 28 and 29 October, the IRL Judiciary has taken the following decisions:
Natalia Webb (Philippines) – On report: (Law 15.1(i): Behaves in a way contrary to the spirit of the game) – no further action

Returning to England and Tonga, no action was taken over the altercation when Matty Ashton and Harry Newman dragged their opposite number into touch despite the minor skirmish that ensued.
Both sides will have a full compliment to choose from on Saturday despite injuries.
