Eight rugby league games live on TV as Challenge Cup reaches the quarter-final stage

Two weeks removed from the wonder that was Magic Weekend and it’s now the turn of the Challenge Cup to take centre stage again.

The competition is into the quarter-final stages and all four games are set to be broadcast whilst there’s also action from down under to get stuck into.

Saturday 17th June

Parramatta Eels vs Manly Sea Eagles: 8:30am on Sky Sports Arena
Wests Tigers vs Melbourne Storm: 10:35am on Sky Sports Arena
Hull KR vs Salford Red Devils: 12:00pm on Viaplay Sports 1
Hull FC vs St Helens: 2:30pm on BBC One

Saturday kicks off with Parramatta hosting Manly down under but Englishman Josh Hodgson misses out through injury. Another Englishmen thriving down under is John Bateman and he’ll feature for Wests Tigers when they face Melbourne Storm in the later game.

Onto the UK action and at midday Hull KR host Salford, two weeks removed from the Red Devils victory over them at Magic Weekend. Two sides who won at Magic Weekend, Hull FC and St Helens, then face off in the early afternoon live on BBC.

Sunday 18th June

Wigan Warriors vs Huddersfield Giants (Women’s Challenge Cup): 11:30am on The Sportsman Youtube channel
Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves (Men’s Challenge Cup): 2:30pm on BBC One
York Knights vs Leigh Leopards: 5:00pm on Viaplay Sports 1

There’s one instalment of NRL on Sunday with 15th placed Canterbury travelling to face Cronulla who are reeling from a 54-10 loss last week. The morning also features Women’s Challenge Cup action between Wigan and Huddersfield, streamed live on the Sportsman Youtube Channel.

The afternoon then sees the Men’s Challenge Cup take centre stage with two teams that have come into a run of difficult form in Wigan and Warrington. The fairytale game then comes in the evening with the one remaining Championship side, York, hosting Leigh who will seriously fancy their chances at silverware now given their recent form.
