Manly centre Dylan Walker has pleaded guilty to one charge of common assault in relation to an incident at a restaurant in Narraweena last November, nrl.com has revealed.
An additional count of common assault was withdrawn by NSW Police and no conviction was recorded against Walker, who confronted a pizza shop worker and their sister in the incident.
He was placed on an 18-month good behaviour bond and will be required to undergo drug and alcohol counselling.
In a statement issued by the Sea Eagles, he said: “I am very remorseful about what happened and glad to now be able to put this matter behind me.
“I am very appreciative of all the wonderful support I have received from my partner, family, my teammates, and everyone from the Manly Sea Eagles.”
An NRL Spokesman said the Integrity Unit will now finalise its investigation into the incident.
Walker has not played since round five due to a hamstring injury and was not selected in the squad for Friday’s Magic Round clash with Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.
