Chris Sandow, remember him? Well he finally has a new club having joined Queensland Intrust Super Cup outfit Norths Devils.
The Devils are one of Brisbane’s feeder clubs and Broncos head coach Wayne Bennett may be tempted to throw Sandow in should St George-bound Ben Hunt fail to deliver in 2017.
Never far from controversy, Sandow refused to return to Warrington Wolves ahead of this season, before unsavoury footage emerged online of him brawling on the streets of Cherbourg.
However, Anthony Milford will be seeking a new half-back partner come the end of the season and with plans to play Benji Marshall in the centres, Sandow could be given an NRL lifeline with the Broncos.
Many coaches have tried and failed to get the best out of the 28-year-old, but super coach Bennett may just be the man to reignite the stop-start career of former Indigenous All Star Chris Sandow.
