Castleford Tigers vs Wigan Warriors: 21-man squads, injury news, kick-off time & TV details

Castleford Tigers take on Wigan Warriors this Saturday afternoon at the Jungle live on Channel 4.

The Tigers go into this fixture on the back of a dismal 30-16 defeat to the Salford Red Devils, but they have had week off due to the Challenge Cup Final.

Wigan Warriors were part of that Final, beating Huddersfield Giants in the showpiece event.

Injury news

Castleford are down to the bare bones as head coach Lee Radford confirmed the Tigers have just 21 players fit and available. Niall Evalds, Sosaia Feki and Callum McLelland are some of those out, though Liam Watts does return from suspension and Bureta Faraimo from injury. Jake Mamo, however, went home on compassionate leave during the week leaving the Tigers with a big centre hole to fill. Wigan, meanwhile, will be without Tommy Leuluai and Cade Cust following their Challenge Cup win last weekend.

The game will kick off at 2pm on Saturday afternoon.

TV details

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 4 from 1.30pm on Saturday. Highlights will also be shown on the Super League Show as well as Super League’s YouTube channel.
