Bradford have confirmed the signing of back rower Brad England from Doncaster on a one-year deal from 2021.
The 25-year-old had spells with Super League clubs Castleford, Leeds and Salford in his younger days and has since become an established League 1 player since joining the Dons in 2017.
He was named their 2018 Player of the Year and has made over 40 appearances under Richard Horne.
“I am really excited to have signed,” England said. “Bradford is a really big club with a massive fanbase and I cannot wait to get start and get stuck into training with all the lads.
“The team is going to be full of Super League talent and I cannot wait to play alongside the likes of Danny Brough and Aaron Murphy, getting involved and learning from them.
“I am ready for a step up and a different challenge and I want to prove to John I have what it takes and reward his faith in me.”
Bulls head coach Kear added: “I have known Brad since he was at Castleford as a junior, he had a very good reputation and although it did not work out for him there, he has since gone to Doncaster been a very valuable member of their squad.
“I am delighted he has challenged himself to become an elite Championship player but I have no doubt he can do that in that edge back row position, adding further competition for places.”
