Overnight the South Sydney Rabbitohs announced the signing of CJ Mudine, the son of former Bronco and Dragon, and current boxer Anthony “The Man” Mundine from the Matraville Tigers.
Mundine was playing in the St. George Illawarra Dragons SG Ball side in 2018, however played alongside his father in the Matraville Tigers A-Grade side in 2019 before signing with the Rabbitohs.
CJ’s father Anthony has also been heavily involved with the current goings on with Latrell Mitchell, with the boxer reportedly acting as an advisor to the star centre.
The former NRL half has spoken publicly about the situation once, suggesting that Mitchell should “get as much money as he can.”
