Barrow Raiders have signed former Wigan, Salford and Castleford prop Lee Jewitt on a deal from 2020.
The 32-year-old last played for Hull KR but was released earlier in 2019 after suffering several injuries.
He’s taken a brief break from the game but will make his return with the Cumbrian club in 2020.
He will fill the gap left by Italian international Alec Susino, who will join Featherstone next season.
Jewitt adds a wealth of experience to the Raiders’ ranks, having made over 180 appearances during spells with Wigan, Salford, Castleford, Hull KR, as well as Limoux Grizzlies in France and Townsville Blackhawks in Australia.
