Another club set to copy Leeds Rhinos’ report recent move

Women’s rugby league is growing and developing at a fantastic rate at present.

The Women’s Rugby League World Cup was outstanding and gave English fans the chance to enjoy some of the best players in the game at present.

One of those is headed to Super League reportedly in the shape of Georgia Hale.

The New Zealand international and the New Zealand Warriors star is one of the best players in the game at present and is now a World Cup Finalist.

Hale is rumoured to be following her partner Sami Lisone to Leeds Rhinos with the club reportedly using the fact that they could play together for the same club as a bargaining chip in tempting the two to the club to bolster the men’s and women’s squads.

This is something NRL clubs are now considering.

For instance, the Daily Telegraph are reporting that the Canberra Raiders are considering a move similar to this in their pursuit of star player David Fifita.

Fifita is currently at the Gold Coast Titans with former St Helens boss Justin Holbrook.

However, the Raiders are hoping to bring him and partner Shaylee Bent to the club hoping use the fact that they could play together for the same club as a bargaining chip like Leeds Rhinos.
