Fox Sports have reported that Wests Tigers and Brisbane Broncos are chasing Warrington forward Andre Savelio.
Labelling him the English Sonny Bill Williams, the reports claim the two NRL big hitters will battle it out for Savelio’s signature ahead of the 2018 season.
The 22-year-old has already chalked up 50 Super League appearances since making his debut for St Helens against Leeds in March 2014.
At the end of last season, the Latchford Albion junior left Saints for Warrington but only signed a one-year deal at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Weighing in at 101kg, Savelio is renowned for his physical attributes resulting in his comparison to former Kiwis superstar SBW.
With his signature up for grabs and with an ambition to play in the NRL, it is expected that Savelio will moved Down Under next season but his destinations remains to be seen.
Should the reports be true, he may be tempted to link up with current England coach Wayne Bennett at Brisbane but it is believed no offers are on the table at this stage.
