11/8 Rhinos one win from safety ?

There should be a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere at Headingley for the visit of St Helens tomorrow with Leeds looking all but safe from the drop now . They are 4 points ahead of London with a vastly superior points difference with only 4 games left . A win against the league leaders would just about assure the Rhinos safety .

Surely Saints will have one eye on next weeks Challenge Cup Final but Justin Holbrook has picked a strong side for this , a lot stronger than the side that played London the week before the semi final some may say .
Walmsley , Coote and Roby are the only major absentees and given the way they dispatched Warrington last week it’s a surprise to see odds of 4/5 for an away win , given saints have only lost 3 times this season .

Leeds though have won 4 of their last 6 and have scored over 90 points in winning both fixtures in August , which has led for calls for Richard Agar to be given the job for next season .

With Saints having such a big game next week this game is probably best left alone but you do have to think that 4/5 is just too big for a side who have been so dominant this year . Bookies quoting only 11/8 for a Leeds win must have been expecting a weaker saints line up and I think Saints can win this by 6-10 points with no real pressure on them . Saints showed no signs of easing up last week and I can’t see them doing that here on Thursday night rugby either .

Fun bets on tryscorers or man of the match is probably the way to go tonight and Hurrell looks good at 12/1 for the 1st 4 pointer .

Lomax has been the best half in Super League this year and he’d by my pick at 8/1 for man of the match , as for Leeds 20/1 looks far too big for Rhyse Martin .

Warrington travel to Wigan tomorrow as always please gamble responsibly
