One Super League player charged by the RFL

In a quiet week for disciplinary news, only Wakefield’s Tinirau Arona has been charged by RFL’s Match Review Panel.

The Wakefield forward has been cited for kicking out during Trinity’s victory against Widnes on Friday night.

It is very likely Arona will escape suspension as he still has his Early Guilty Plea option available and the offence is only deemed as Grade A.

Elsewhere, Wigan winger Joe Burgess was issued with a warning for other contrary behaviour during the Warriors game against Warrington on Thursday.
