St Helens Head Coach Kristian Woolf has confirmed James Bentley will be out for a couple of weeks with an ankle injury.
Bentley was taken off the pitch during Saints’ 32-0 win over Toronto Wolfpack on Saturday. Before that, he scored Saints’ third try of the evening.
Woolf said: “At the moment, whoever we put in that centre spot keeps on copping injuries unfortunately. He was doing a terrific job too, he’s a really good young player who is coming a long in whatever position we put him in.
“He’s got an ankle injury, its one we will have to get a scan on. Early indications seem that its not too bad, but he will be out for a couple of weeks.”
