Warrington launch donate a ticket scheme

Warrington Wolves have announced their new ‘donate a ticket’ scheme, which will see tickets for future matches being donated to key sector workers.

Fans are being invited to buy a ticket for a future match for £15, and then the ticket will be donated. The Wolves also say they will match every ticket with one free from the club.

Key workers will be able to apply for a ticket, whilst a number will also be donated to Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Tesco Extra on Winwick Road, and schools across the town.

Further details will be made available in due course.

All tickets donated will apply to a designated Warrington Wolves home fixture once Super League fixtures have been rescheduled.

CEO Karl Fitzpatrick told the club website: “This period has been extremely difficult for everyone; however, it has seen an increased sense of community spirit across the town.

“We thought it was only right that we said thank you to those going above and beyond within our local NHS, schools and supermarkets, and give everyone something positive to look forward to once the players are able to take to the field at the Halliwell Jones Stadium again.
