Wakefield Trinity are showing their amazing growth as the gun for a return to Super League and becoming a Grade A side competing at the top.
This has been underlined by Wakefield Trinity‘s reported pursuits of Tom Johnstone and Mike McMeeken from Super League powerhouses Catalans Dragons.
The club also have redeveloped their historic stadium so that it is one of the best in the Betfred Championship.
Their growth has been reflected in their ticket sales. They have now confirmed that they have sold a massive 5,500 season tickets which is already more than their average attendance last season.
The club is well and truly on the up under the guidance of Daryl Powell and new owner Matthew Ellis. There is a belief in this current project from the fans as reflected in these ticket sales.
Can they translate that to on field dominance in the second tier however? It would seem that soon Wakefield Trinity will be pushing among the big boys at the very top.
