Two banned by Match Review Panel

The Match Review Panel have issued penalty notices to Hull FC forward Andre Savelio and Hull KR forward Elliot Minchella.

Savelio was charged with leading with his knees during his side’s win against Castleford Tigers at The Jungle on Thursday.

He will serve a one-match penalty notice after the incident with Michael Shenton.

Minchella was charged with a Dangerous Throw on Owen Trout during the Robins’ defeat at Huddersfield Giants. He will also serve a one match ban.

Several others were also charged but not banned.

St Helens pair James Graham and Jonny Lomax were both charged with Dangerous Contact and a Dangerous Throw respectively. Both were given Grade A charges, and are subsequently not banned.

Salford Red Devils forward Tyrone McCarthy was also charged after his cannonball tackle on Stefan Ratchford. He was in binned for the offence. McCarthy was also given a Grade A charging and was not banned.

Finally, Catalans Dragons forward Sam Moa was charged with Dangerous Contact after his tackle on Jacob Miller. He was also cautioned for an earlier incident that also involved Miller.

Also cautioned were Leeds pair Bodene Thompson and Ava Seumanufagai.
