After a successful trial, former rugby union winger Guy Armitage has put pen to paper on a new deal at newly-promoted Toulouse Olympique.
Not only has Guy been introduced to the French lifestyle, but his two brothers Steffon and Delon have also joined Toulouse in a wholly family affair.
Handicapped by injuries, he played his first game for the team in June at Sheffield, but he will now be part of the Super League adventure with Toulouse Olympique.
Armitage said: “I am very happy to be able to continue this great story with Toulouse. It’s a very good group and I can’t wait to start the season in the Super League.”
Bernard Sarrazain the President of Toulouse said: “Seeing Guy extend at the club shows his willingness to go far with us, after being on trial, he worked hard to get back on the pitch and he succeeded. Now it’s time for the Super League.”
