Tony Smith hints that Hull FC star could leave the club immediately

There have been rumours lately that Hull FC and prop Kane Evans will part company effective immediately.

This comes as he has struggled in Super League largely due to injuries and suspensions.

Right now coach Tony Smith is undergoing a large overhaul of the squad with around 20 players off contract at the end of the year but is seems Evans could depart the club effective immediately.

Smith addressed the rumours speaking to BBC Radio Humberside:

“It’s been rumoured and there will be announcements at the appropriate times.

“There is a possibility of that. I am not going to shy away from that.

“I have some tough calls to make.”

In making these tough calls, Smith explained what he considers when making them including value for money.

“They are my decisions. I am influenced by all sorts of things such as form, value for money.

“All sorts of things that I have to package up and sometimes I have to make tough decisions.”

The Black and Whites though will be focused on a clash against Wigan Warriors tomorrow live on Sky Sports.

The Warriors currently top the Super League table.

Hull FC come into the game after ending a seven game losing run by defeating Huddersfield Giants.
