Three Super League clubs who could sign NRL man looking for a club

There are over 20 NRL players still looking for a club in 2023 which Super League clubs could consider making a move for them.

One of those is former Wests Tigers and Canterbury Bulldogs man Reece Hoffman who can play both in the backrow and at centre so would offer teams great versatility.

So, here’s three Super League clubs who could sign Hoffman.

Salford Red Devils
After the exit of former Warrington Wolves prop Sitaleki Akauola to Toulouse Olympique, the Red Devils have a quota spot and the Red Devils have done brilliant business in adding depth to their superb squad. Salford therefore could make a move for Hoffman to add further depth. They are often the club of second chances.

Leigh Leopards
Leigh have lost Nene MacDonald to Leeds Rhinos as well as Blake Ferguson on compassionate grounds leaving them open to make moves. Owner Derek Beaumont said they were after a middle which Hoffman could provide likewise he could replace MacDonald at centre.

Catalans Dragons
The Dragons have already signed one NRL centre capable of playing other roles in the shape of Adam Keighran and after losing Samisoni Langi to Wakefield Trinity and Dean Whare, as well as missing out on Featherstone Rovers’ Joey Leilua, a move for Hoffman at centre could be a smart decision for teh Dragons.
