The three Super League teams who have done the best transfer business going into 2023

All 12 Super League teams have done brilliant transfer business going into 2023.

The likes of Wigan Warriors and St Helens have done minimal business but they didn’t need much more and their signings are still smart.

But which three teams have done the best transfer business so far?

3 Leigh Leopards
The Leopards have laid down a marker ahead of 2023 with 12 signings. They have brought in Zak Hardaker and Tom Briscoe from Leeds Rhinos, five stars from Warrington Wolves who have given their pack real depth. They have Huddersfield Giants’ star centre Ricky Leutele, Castleford Tigers halfback Gareth O’Brien. They have also signed on Aaron Smith and Tom Nisbet after strong loan spells at the club in 2023. This all gives them the star power needed not only survive but also to compete in Super League.

2. Hull FC
The Black and Whites have a brand new spine for next year and this could be what they need to get back inside the top four. Newcastle Knights duo Jake Clifford and Tex Hoy will be a formidable duo, former Castleford Tigers halfback Jake Trueman will also be a huge threat. Add to that Liam Sutcliffe at centre to provide strike power and Brad Dwyer as an ace up the sleeve, Hull FC could impress.

1. Huddersfield Giants
The thing that let Huddersfield down in 2022 was sometimes an inability to score the points their weight of possession warranted. Now with Jake Connor and more strike players like former St Helens man Kevin Naiqama, former Wigan Warriors man Jake Bibby and of course NRL man Esan Marsters.
