Super League top try scorer odds revealed – with one clear favourite

The odds of who will be the top try scorer in the 2022 Super League season have been revealed – with a number of surprises.

Not only is Wigan Warriors’ Bevan French close to being the bookmakers’ favourite for the Man of Steel award, he is also being tipped by Sporting Index to be the Super League top try scorer at 10/1.

French is out in front, but there are a number of challengers not far behind at 12/1.

The likes of Catalans Dragons winger Fouad Yaha and Wigan winger Liam Marshall are on the market at those odds, alongside Leeds Rhinos’ new signing David Fusitu’a and Catalans’ other winger Tom Davies.

St Helens flier Regan Grace is also at 12/1, as is Leeds stalwart Ash Handley.

There seems to be a consistent theme amongst the contenders with Wigan outside back Jake Bibby also making an appearance at 14/1.

He is joined by Wakefield Trinity star Tom Johnstone as well as Hull KR’s Ryan Hall and Warrington Wolves’ Matty Ashton on the same odds.

Last year’s top try scorer, Ken Sio, is back at 16/1 with Saints winger Tommy Makinson.
