Leigh faced a tough test of their play-off ambitions as Warrington Wolves visited the Leigh Sports Village last night.
The last time the sides met, Warrington put on a show as they won 38-20; however they were facing a very different Leigh team to the one they came up against in March.
Leigh came into the game in sparkling form. They went into the game having won their last five games, and the manner of those victories has made the rest of the league turn back and notice.
However, the Wolves are enjoying their best ever start to a Super League season which included an eight game winning run to begin the season which saw the Wolves plough through the Leopards at home.
There is a real optimism at the club and that has translated to the fans.
Thus it was no surprise that the club took over 2000 fans across to Leigh last night which is a fantastic away following.
This remarkably made up around a quarter of the overall attendance of 8,120 at the Leigh Sports Village.
Sadly for the travelling fans, the Wolves suffered a third defeat of the season as Leigh continued to impress.

Shame that 90% of them went home 15 minutes before the end.
