Keighley Cougars are never far away from creating a headline and they caused a fuss last night.
The Cougars shared a video captioned “The newest Cougars fan is…” and the video seemingly displays nine-time Grammy award winning singer and the hugely famous Rihanna in a Keighley Cougars shirt and a Keighley banner dancing with the banner to the music of one of her more famous songs.

They were unbeaten in 2022 and are set to make a splash in the Championship in 2023 and could even make the play-offs, thus you couldn’t play Rihanna for supporting them.
As aforementioned, the club are never far away from a headline as we saw with their Tiger King stunt in the recent past.
Meanwhile, they are also the only club to vote against the changes suggested by IMG to rugby league as they look to re-imagine the sport as they stand against the idea that big clubs like St Helens, Wigan Warriors and Leeds Rhinos should be immune from relegation if granted a Grade A licence.
Now they seem to be the only club in the sport to be supported by a Grammy Award winning singer in the shape of Rihanna.
However, it was initially unclear whether it was indeed Rihanna or a look alike but it seems it was indeed an imposter but fans are claiming it is an impersonator:
Either way it has gotten fans talking about the Cougars, even rival clubs are talking about them.
The Sheffield Eagles came up with a hilarious response to the Cougars on Twitter:
“We saw Keighley managed to recruit a celebrity fan last night. Definitely real, too. Impressive.
“Did we ever tell you about the time Jedward and Prince Harry went on a Carcassonne away trip to watch the Eagles?”
