Sam Burgess’ ex-wife ‘f***ing furious’ in major revelation

Sam Burgess continues to be thrust into the limelight after more revelations hit the media headlines from ex-wife Phoebe.

It was Phoebe’s father Mitch Hooke’s birthday on Tuesday, with the ex-WAG taking a sly swipe at Sam.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram to show photos of her father with the two young Burgess children, and thanked him for helping her ‘raise’ the kids, the Daily Mail has revealed.

“Happy birthday to our Mitchy boy,” her post said.

“We would be lost without your strength, support, integrity and guidance that shape the values of this family unit.”

She added: “Not many would sacrifice their later years to help raise tiny, messy, noisy, needy, demanding, constant children all over again… but here we are.

“Thank you, dad.”

Sam and Phoebe share the custody of their two children, Poppy who is four and Billy who is two after splitting up in 2019.

Phoebe appeared on the No Filter podcast where she opened up about her split with the former Rabbitohs star and revealed she was ‘f**king furious’ after being told that the SAS Australia winner had traces of cocaine in his system as he went to pick up their two children.

Despite that, Sam avoided a conviction after pleading guilty to three charges in the summer following a police traffic stop in February where he tested positive for the drug.

“That’s the first time I have ever been f**king furious,” she said.

“I was really angry. This was something I had absolutely no ability to control…

“I was furious. I was furious at the people around him. I didn’t understand how someone could get into that position.

“The first thing I said is, ‘Who the f**k is looking after him? What is going on?”‘
