Salford v Catalans: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

After the disappointment of becoming the first team to lose to Leigh last week, things don’t get any easier for Salford as they welcome the league leaders to the AJ Bell Stadium.

The Red Devils could make one or two changes following the defeat last week however Tui Lolohea will remain at fullback as he continues his good form in the role. That means Dan Sarginson will remain at centre whilst question marks swim around Morgan Escare and whether he’ll feature. Meanwhile, in the halves I can see Chris Atkin returning to stand-off whilst Ata Hingano drops to the bench.

As for Catalans, they’re missing a few owing to an outbreak of Covid-19 in their squad. However, their spine remains relatively strong with Sam Tomkins at fullback and a halfback combination of James Maloney and Arthur Mourgue. The problems they’ll face will be in the pack. Their forwards are a little spare meaning youngsters Corentin Le Cam, Mathieu Cozza and Joe Chan will feature on the bench.
