Salford v Castleford: Squads announced

Castleford Tigers 38-14 Salford Red Devils

Salford and Castleford have both announced their squads for Thursday’s semi-final clash at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Salford Red Devils:

Salford are unchanged from last week’s defeat to Wigan. Jackson Hastings is expected to play after recovering from an eye injury. There’s still no place for Fiji international Ben Nakubuwai.

19-man squad: 1 Niall Evalds, 3 Kris Welham, 5 Jake Bibby, 8 Lee Mossop, 9 Josh Wood, 10 Gil Dudson, 11 Josh Jones, 12 George Griffin, 13 Mark Flanagan, 14 Joey Lussick, 15 Adam Walker, 16 Greg Burke, 17 Tyrone McCarthy, 19 Logan Tomkins, 23 Ken Sio, 26 Krisnan Inu, 29 Ryan Lannon, 30 Tui Lolohea, 31 Jackson Hastings.

Castleford Tigers:

Nathan Massey and Greg Eden are both back for the Tigers after recovering from injuries. They replace Calum Turner and Mike McMeeken, who both picked up knocks in last week’s win over Warrington.
