Salford Red Devils vs Castleford Tigers: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Salford and Castleford do battle both on the back of some encouraging performances.

The Tigers have managed to haul themselves into the top six despite a tough start which began with a bubble bursting defeat to Salford in Round One.

The Red Devils meanwhile have put together three superb performances in a row against the only three teams left in the league to have won the Grand Final. Can they continue this form and pick up a win which again push them clear of relegation troubles?

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage begins at 19:30 on Sky Sports Arena.

Predicted Line-ups

Salford Red Devils
There’s likely to be little in the way of change for Paul Rowley and his team. There’s difficulties again at prop which could see new signing Tyler Dupree start and Sitaleki Akauola play for the first time in a while. It will be interesting to see whether Chris Atkin figures on the bench or if it’ll be Morgan Escare or Amir Bourouh.

Castleford Tigers
Like Salford, there will be little change for the Tigers here. There’s one forced change with Liam Watts out which could see Daniel Smith start and Cheyse Blair come onto the bench. There’s a big call to make on Danny Richardson who played in the reserves last week but with things going well with Jake Trueman and Gareth O’Brien in the halves with Ryan Hampshire debuting at fullback last week why risk Richardson after a horrendous neck injury? We could also see Greg Eden finally return to the 17.
