Ryan Hall reveals horror injury following Hull KR loss to St Helens

Rugby league is a tough sport – everyone knows that.

But, every so often, an injury comes along that just makes you wince – and one of those was what Hull KR winger Ryan Hall shared on Instagram last night following Rovers’ loss to St Helens.

KR were thrashed 42-8 by Saints and Hall’s night went from bad to worse with a deep cut just above his eye, with blood spurting out and stitches needed.

Hall posted on Instagram: “Rugby league is the winner. And @saints1890. They beat us in every department today. I think every team should be striving toward their levels.”

Saints were in a rampant mood and, despite Konrad Hurrell getting sinbinned, were able to easily overcome their East Hull challengers who fell to their third defeat in four games.

KR have won just once all season – a 26-10 win over Castleford Tigers last week – and face Salford Red Devils at the AJ Bell Stadium next Friday night.

St Helens, meanwhile, will take on Warrington Wolves who were second best as they lost their first game of the season last night against Catalans Dragons.
