Rhinos favourites for Rovers Trip

Bottom club Leeds will be looking to make it 2 wins in a row on Thursday night rugby as they travel down the M62 to Craven Park to take on Hull KR .

They needed golden point to beat Castleford at Headingley last week and odds suggest this game could be just as tight. Rovers themselves have been hampered by injury and inconsistency so far this year and will be looking for a win that will take them 4 points clear of the Rhinos at the bottom .

The Robins lost 4 of their 5 games last month , but 4 of them were away from home . At Craven Park Rovers have won 2 and lost 2 so far this year and I just think Leeds can nick this . The 2017 Champions will get a lot of confidence from their win last week and also were unfortunate to lose in France the week before . It could be a scrappy tense affair that could really go either way but I just favour the 8/11 Rhinos . Super League Sponsors Betfred are biggest price for the home side at 11/8 and that could appeal to some who saw them comeback and nearly shock St Helens last week . That game was similar to the match Leeds played at Saints and they lost heavily to Wakefield the week after , I do feel Saints took their foot off the pedal and nearly paid the price . Rovers were poor on their last home performance against a Catalans side who have struggled away from home so it’s Leeds by the minimum 1-5 points for me . If you disagree with me and fancy KR best value is probably them at even money with a 2 point start , Leeds can be backed at even money conceding a 2 point .

Handley heads the 1st try market at around 8/1 but I’d prefer Watkins at 12/1 , Craig Hall at the same odds could be the alternative for the hosts , Danny Mcguire looks big at 7/2 to score a try anytime against his old club .

Finally the man of the match , if Rovers win Mcguire will surely get it , .This is reflected in him being 6/1 favourite but it’s hard to look elsewhere in Rovers colours ,  Drinkwater is around 8/1 . As for the Rhinos Hurrell has had a great season so far , especially considering how his side have struggled and he’d be my pick in Leeds colours at 10/1 , just ahead of Parcell at 12’s.
