Newcastle Thunder have confirmed the signing of experienced forward Colton Roche from Bradford.
The 26-year-old arrives in the North East with over 100 games-worth of experience across all three professional leagues in the UK.
A Leeds Rhinos academy graduate, Roche’s first taste of senior rugby came with Oldham in 2012, before spells with Sheffield, Featherstone, York and Bradford.
He signed a Super League contract with Huddersfield in 2018 and went on to make eight appearances for the Giants, whilst also spending time with York again and Workington on dual-registration.
He re-joined the Bulls on loan at the beginning of 2019, before making the move permanent in May.
He becomes the 11th member of Newcastle’s squad for next season.
Thunder head coach Simon Finnigan said: “I’m looking forward to working with Colton, he will add to our team as someone who plays the game in a dynamic way and I am sure will compliment the way that we play.”
