London Broncos have announced the signing of Castleford Tigers centre or winger Tuoyo Egodo for 2020.
The 22-year-old is a Broncos product and will return to the club on a two-year deal after spending three years in West Yorkshire.
He has gone on to make 15 appearances for the Tigers in all competitions, scoring 11 tries, as well as spending time on loan at Oldham, York, Newcastle and Bradford.
He becomes London’s second signing ahead of next season, joining current teammate Cory Aston in making the move back to the capital.
“I’m really excited to get back to London and join the Broncos again,” he told the Broncos’ club website. “It’s an opportunity to be close to family and friends and something I just couldn’t pass up on.
“I’d like to say thanks to the coaches, players & staff at Castleford who I have learnt a lot from and have helped me become the player I am today. I would also like to say a big thank you to the Castleford fans for their continuous support over the years.
“I look forward to wearing the Broncos jersey again and getting started for the 2020 season.”
London head coach Danny Ward added:“We are pleased Tuoyo has joined us back at the Broncos from next season.
“He is a player who came through our junior system, have all worked with before and so know what he can bring to the group.
“It has been good for him to move away, get out of his comfort zone, work with different coaches and mature as a player and a person.
“Although he’s not done himself any favours scoring loads of tries against us in the last month, we won’t hold that against him and look forward to help continue his development.”
