London Broncos have confirmed the signing of Salford Red Devils winger Ed Chamberlain on a months loan.
Chamberlain has been working his way back to full fitness after picking up an injury in 2019, and the club are hoping this will increase his match fitness.
Director of rugby and operations Ian Blease said: “This is a perfect opportunity for Ed to get some game time under his belt, while still operating in a full-time environment.
“He’s shown a promising return to match fitness after his long-term injury, with his performances in preseason and for the reserves, but with the standard of competition in our outside backs, we wanted to give him an opportunity to step up another level.
“The loan to London will allow Ed to come into contention for the first team once again.
“He’ll be working alongside Danny Ward, who coach Watson knows well from their time together in the Great Britain setup, and we’re sure this will help Ed return to his top level of performance.”
