Leeds Rhinos have signed highly-rated outside back Corey Hall from Wigan, report the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Hall, who hails from Sheffield originally, has been named in the England Academy squad to face Wales on October 19.
He previously spent time with Wakefield’s scholarship system, before making the move over the Pennines to join the Warriors’ academy setup.
However, he will now return to West Yorkshire in 2020 and will be hoping to push through the academy and reserve grade sides into the Rhinos first team.
“He is a Sheffield kid and he went over to Wigan,” said Leeds head coach Richard Agar.
“At a young age I think there was a bit of homesickness, he wanted to find somewhere a bit closer to home and we have picked him up.
“He played really well against our academy this year, he is big and athletic and someone with a lot of potential.”
Hall is now one of five Rhinos youngsters included in the England squad for the Test in Llanelli, joining centre Joe Burton, prop Rian Rowley, fullback Iwan Stephens and winger Liam Tindall.
