Lee Radford hasn’t lost it from his time as a rugby league player.
In a short video released by the Castleford media on the second day of the Tigers’ pre-season training, Radford was shown doing some silky skills with the rugby league ball.
It’s almost a decade since Radford hung up his boots after playing over 300 Super League games for Hull FC and Bradford Bulls, but this is only his second coaching job after being unceremoniously sacked on live television by Black and Whites owner Adam Pearson midway through 2020.
That being said, it’s obvious that the former England international had a deft touch – even for a powerful and towering forward.

Radford has begun a new era at the Jungle, with as many as eight signings coming through the doors, the likes of which include former Hull FC stars Bureta Faraimo and Mahe Fonua as well as Australian livewire Jake Mamo.
The Tigers have also been making waves off the field, with a number of key sponsors being announced in recent weeks, whilst the sale of memberships continues to rise in anticipation of a different season to the past nine years.
