Warrington Wolves head coach Daryl Powell has admitted that St Helens prop forward Kyle Amor will not be staying at the Halliwell Jones Stadium beyond his current deal.
Amor has joined Warrington for the rest of the season on loan from Saints, but he will not be playing for either the Wolves or the Saints in 2023.
Powell was, however, keen to have him on board for the remainder of this season.
“He’s got a contract elsewhere next year, so that’s not part of the deal. We’re pleased to have him though, he’s going to add a lot,” Powell told Rugby League Live.
“Some of the things he’s said from a leadership perspective have been great,” Powell continued. “He’s been at St Helens and they’ve been awesome and he’s brought some real smart titbits and things that he’s talking about in practice.
“He’s a good guy, he’s a real solid player and he’s fitted in pretty easily. I’d expect that when he gets out on the field he’s going to be important for us.”
