Wakefield Trinity will attempt to continue their ‘Great Escape’ on Sunday having beaten the likes of Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors in their past few games, but it’s the out of form Warrington Wolves that they face at Belle Vue on Sunday.
Should results go for them tonight and Castleford lose to Hull KR then the Trin could draw level with the Tigers on points with a crucial match between the two at Belle Vue still to come.
Mark Applegarth’s side have recruited well mid-season but their recent signing Josh Griffin won’t feature yet as he remains suspended.
One man who is set to return is Liam Hood who served his one match ban during a reserves game last week and therefore Trinity could operate with a full strength spine.
That’s because Applegarth has stated that Luke Gale should be fine to feature, as is new loanee Innes Senior who once again returns for a spell with the side.
As for Warrington they’ll be hoping George Williams is back with the star half an absentee of late and the Wire losing their last fives matches.
Trinity have named their 21-man squad as follows.

It features the likes of Gale, Senior and Hood whilst Mason Lino also returns to the fray.
The form of Trinity, and particularly the form of Warrington, has led former Wire player Kevin Brown to tip Trinity for the win.
“Wakefield are the form team out of these two. They’ve won two of the last three, I think Warrington have won one out of eight it’s horrific form,” he stated on the Sportsman’s Last Tackle show.
Warrington have named Williams in their 21-man squad and should he feature on Sunday then he’ll be a major boost.

James Harrison misses out having dislocated his finger, an issue that is recurring per Daryl Clark, meaning that the pack will once again be light and reliant on youth following the earlier releases of Thomas Mikaele and Josh McGuire.
