Kevin Brown reveals the dark horses to win Super League

Kevin Brown has picked out his dark horses to win Super League.

Unsurprisingly it is Hull KR who currently occupy the top three and have beaten all four teams who contested a major final in 2022: Super League and World Champions St Helens, Challenge Cup holders Wigan Warriors, Grand Finalists Leeds Rhinos and beaten Challenge Cup Finalists Huddersfield Giants.

“I really like the way Willie Peters has got them playing. I think they’re dark horses for the competition,” Brown said of Hull KR.

He then revealed that of the current Super League teams he would love to play for Wigan Warriors:

“I’d love to play at Wigan. as stand off in that team right now, where you’ve got French and Field and the pace you have around you and playing alongside Harry Smith.

“I think they could really do with a good standoff. I think if they got a good standoff then to be able to have that combination with Harry Smith they’ll be such a good team.

“I’d also like to play for Matty Peat as well. I really like how he coaches, he’s demanding, he’s honest and I’d love to go there in my peak.

“I played there at the start of my career and I was a massive Wigan fan so I’d have liked to have been there in my peak.”
