Jake Connor leaves field as Hull FC’s injury problems mount

Jake Connor left the field prematurely for Hull FC in Tom Briscoe’s testimonial.

Hull FC have already faced injury problems in pre-season with the likes of Scott Taylor and Kane Evans facing spells on the sidelines.

And, Connor was forced off early in the Black and Whites’ fixture against Leeds Rhinos.

To make matters worse his replacement, Davy Litten, also had to leave the field.

Connor, who will be pushing for England selection at the 2022 World Cup, started the game at fullback but left down the tunnel with what appeared to be a hand injury.

Hull actually started the brighter of the two sides, racing into a 6-0 lead before being pegged back by two Leeds scores as the Rhinos went into half-time with a 10-6 lead.

Richard Agar’s men turned the screw in the second-half, scoring 28 unanswered points to register a 38-10 win.
